night

I'm listening Welcome to the Nightvale for the first time, just finished my ice cream too.
I like how Cecil talks about Carlos, he reminds me of my own mental dialogue when I've been smitten. I don't think I like Cecil's voice all that much, actually. I imagined it differently.

Speaking of voices I imagined differently, I really paid attention to Tom Hiddleston's voice for the first time. I've heard it before -I've seen Avengers, Midnight in Paris, and War Horse- but I've never really listened to it. It's lovely. It really is like melted chocolate.

OH! The cat, hovering in the men's bathroom, I've finally gotten to that part, what a joy! I love the eldritch whimsy that is the floating cat.

A book I'm currently reading is The Night Circus, by Erin Morgenstern. [Admittedly, it's not the only book I'm reading, I'm polyamorous when it comes to my time with literature.] It's good, but I don't think the present tense writing style is my forte. It irks me. If I remember correctly Percy Jackson was written that way, not a good thing. But, this book is still good, the image it wants to present is very clear, the blacks and whites and magic that's half true. I feel, that it's a book that I'm meant to read not because it will be a favourite but because I'm to recommend it to people who will fall irrevokably in love with it. Books come to me for such reasons, or so I fancy. Sure better than thinking I just read a book I don't like much even though it's well crafted. *shrugs*

There isn't much else to share, really. My days are quiet, and what is often exciting about them isn't mine to share. Soon, I'll share bits about my loves. We will see.
